Dr. Barrows is director of the pediatric endocrinology and diabetes division at the Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, N.J. He is also an assistant clinical professor for Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Barrows is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology and received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, N.J. and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from Brown University in Providence, R.I. Dr. Barrows completed his fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the University of North Carolina Children’s Hospital in Chapel Hill, N.C. He completed his pediatric residency at K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, N.J. He is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center.
