Teresa Sementa
Speech Teacher
Teresa graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Education. She earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Kean University. Teresa specializes in treating children with speech sound disorders, motor speech disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and expressive and receptive language delays. She has completed advanced training in sensory integration therapy, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), and is a certified BeeYou Kids Yoga and Mindfulness instructor. Teresa has worked in various settings including daycares, schools, and family homes. She deeply values collaborating with her clients' families and other professionals to support every child's communication needs. During her spare time, Teresa enjoys spending time with her husband Frank, their daughter Tessie, and their little black lab Lucy; she also enjoys reading, and working out.
